Now i def. know NOT what to do with my ears. Gahhh. I took my plugs out to sleep for a night to let my ears rest and when i woke up the morning my ears had shrunk down so much that it hurt to get my 10g pinchers back in. I cried. All that work getting to 8g.....but at least now i know that i can't leave my plugs out for longer than 8 hours. It

i slept without my 2's in the other night because i forgot to put them in after my oil rub and they went in fine. i dunno if that's a good or bad thing.

I've had plugs fall out while I'm sleeping... and I panic, search through my sheets, find them, and they go back in fairly easily.
Maybe its because you're at a small size or something.

dunno if its jus me but do you unconsciously touch your ears while you sleep to check that the plugs are in ok? Couple of times one of my plugs have fallen out but i somehow without realising it touch my lobes and immediately jump up awake to find my plug.

i do that all the time... esp since i lost my septum ring in my sleep the first time i had it pierced.

when I was wearing plugs without orings, I did that all the time. Or I'd wake up just as they were falling out. I did the same with my septum, I had a cbr in it and the bead was so loose. Right when it fell out, I'd wakeu p.

i wouldn't start sleeping without plugs until you're at maybe a 4g. that's when i started, but even then i did it maybe once a month. giving your lobes 'a rest' is only ever possibly necessary at larger sizes and fairly pointless at an 8g. in my opinion, of course.

I'm at 0g now, and my ears shrink down to the point where it kinda hurts to get them back in even after being in a hot shower for at least 15 minutes... it's really annoying since it's so comfy to sleep without plugs :(

i'm so terrified to sleep without my plugs in, i would be devastated if i couldn't get them back in, especially because i dont have jewelry in smaller sizes any more, i've sold it all as i've stretched up...
