I made it to a 0 in my left ear! And it didn't hurt all that much. I taped most of the way and finished off with a taper, but I can't seem to be able to get my ss single flare tunnels into my ear. I tried butting it up against the taper and sliding it through but it just seems like my ear shoots back down an ENTIRE SIZE in the .0025 seconds the ( Read more... )

it was exactly the same for me when i stretched up, couldnt get the tunnel in. you just have to be patient and keep the taper in your ear for a while so that your ear gets used to being at that size. I stretched in the evening so slept with my taper in and the tunnel went in easily in the morning.

I think I'm going to do just that, maybe put a sea salt compress on it to help with the swelling (for a mildly painless stretch, my ear is SWOLLEN) and then later tonight put the tunnel in.

same thing happened to me when i went to 0g. it looked like the hole shrunk right down, when it was a lot more elasticy than it seemed. try putting it in one side at a time, and stretching the lobe down a little (the way they recommend putting in double-flares).

thats' why i would do - just keep the taper in for a day or two. which is why i usually used talons or claws to stretch, cuz you can push it a bit, leave it for a day, push it in a little further the next time, etc etc.
