Anyway, here's the scoop, in letter Jordan wrote to Locus magazine. Although his prospects don't look good, Jordan is determined to beat his condition and finish not just the Wheel of Time, but the rest of the 30 years' worth of books he has planned.

The mind boggles at the notion of 30 more years of Jordan books. However, I do hope his treatment is successful.. what a terrible thing that must have been to hear. :(
