Ugh... I am so deflated from last night's game.

I was pretty much a zombie after it was over, and I still feel really blah over it today. I mean, being down by six runs was bad, but I almost tying it up is almost worse. And yeah, you can say it's good they showed fight, but... Aaaaaaah. Plus, it wasn't kinda disheartening to see Jeter and Tex ( Read more... )

A friend from work who knows I'm a huge Yankee fan (he usually gets me 4 tickets a season since he buys part of season tix) is taking me along with his gf and son. I'm so effing psyched!

I know how you feel. Sunday night I really wanted to hop on a train to the stadium and kick Lidge in the fucking nuts. I knew he was going to fuck it up. :( My heart felt like it was ripped out of my chest.

Um yeah...I know this is weird, since we are rooting for different teams, but you're like the only baseball fan on my friend's list so you'd be the only one to understand my frustration and venting.

The Yankees are going to win though, cause our pitching blows ass and our defense decided to take some time off. We just got lucky enough to live to fight another day. I'm still proud though because honestly I never thought they'd make it this far.

And sorry to bend your ear lol.

Ugh, last night, every time they showed AJ hanging his head in shame in the dugout, I wanted to go smack him more and more >:(

And it's not weird. I TOTALLY understand, especially when we've both been through heartbreaker games. Baseball frustration is a special kind of frustration X(

Aaaah, don't say that! Unless you're trying to jinx the Yankees =o. This series has come down to pitching a LOT though, and the next two games are going to depend a lot on it. So... I guess we'll see what happens next O_O

You're not bending my ear, it's always nice to hear from you, Katie =)
