Faye is walking from the Mall to the apartments, her eyes flicking about warily. She's carrying a knife made from a scrounged lawnmower blade, and her backpack with supplies for the group is slung over her shoulder--mainly medical supplies and a few clothes ( Read more... )

"Not quite."

Rose was on her daily walk up to the EDEN graffiti and back. She always made the walk, in case she bumped into anyone new, and in case...well.

She tried not to get her hopes up.

She came up just as the girl who had obviously just arrived woke up, and tried her best to look pleasant and welcoming, despite the bleary nature of Eden, as it were. Although, considering she's Rose Tyler, looking pleasant and welcoming isn't exactly hard.

Faye stares, rubbing the back of her head.

"...Rose?" she says, before looking at her fingertips. No blood. Luckily.

"...We never noticed you missing," she says as an afterthought.

No.. Rose remembered the faces of all the people she worked with. Coming up zero, she furrows her brow slightly, tilting her head to the side a bit.

"I'm sorry... Should I know you?"

She looks at Rose for a long moment, and then sighs. "Apparently not. But I knew you--or, well, another version of you--" she winces here-- "where I just came from."

Yep. Weird explanation, ahoy.

She turns, rubbing the back of her head. She doesn't feel anything wet, but she still looks at her fingers. Clean. Thank God.

"Damn." She glances at the sky. "'least there's sunlight."

"And noises at night," he notes, still beaming oddly.

"Welcome t'Eden."

She eyes him warily, tightening the grip on her knife. "Anything more than noises?" she says, looking around.
