Confucious likened humans to glass beads with facets. He said that we have no personality, ourselves - each part of us is a facet, and each facet is determined and shaped by a relationship we have. Therefore, the more relationships we have, the more facted or unique we are. But not because our own personality (which, remember, is non-existant) changes. Rather it is because each person we relate to sees us in a different way, and the more perceptions of us there are, the more complex we become.

That turns my brain inside out.

It is true though. I do turn my self to differn't angles for each person. so if I were a glass bead. differn't light would shine through. for each person
