Title: Acts of Mercy

Summary: AU telling of 'Captain Jack Harkness' - what if Ianto had been taken to 1941 with Tosh, leaving Jack behind to wait and wonder?

I really like your AU, but reading about Tommy made me think that maybe you should explain why Torchwood didn't freeze Toshiko and Ianto to preserve the timeline. It would be easy for 2008!Torchwood to wake them up later.

The scene with Jack and Ianto was hot <3

By the way, does Jack know Ianto's name or does he just suspect that Mr Jones is a pseudonym (ala John Smith ? )

I'm a bit suspicious of Torchwood 3 shenanigans, why do they send Ianto as Jack's contact when Ianto and Toshiko told them they had to specifically avoid Jack...

Re: Jack, he thinks that Mr. Jones is a pseudonym and, generally speaking, with Ianto being Welsh, it isn't hard to believe Jack could fail to make the connection (lots of Joneses).

Alas, I don't want to give too much away; a lot of your questions will be resolved soon. :D
