Have survived first kettlebell session. Was much less painful than the last time. But they did take it easy on us. And I'll admit that I didn't give it a full 100% as I had been up for well past 12 hours and almost had a nap instead of going... Go kettlebells! I guess the thing about being older is that now we're doing stuff for ourselves, not to impress some lording person in order to get a grade. Sounds like the instructor has a militant attitude. That's not going to help...but then again, how would you like it if it were the other end? Perky positivity? Gag!
Sounds exciting to be following an author around like that. I hear good things about NC...about how nice it is... I guess mostly for living, but you know the weather will be good there.
Watched that clip. I suppose it's at least one of the more original canadian jokes I've heard in a while.

Stay strong, one day we will overcome the damage done to us by Meridian.

Vacation sounds exciting, we are still hoping to go to Chicago for our honeymoon but right now the cheapest flights would cost us $1500. Hope you can find some kind of better deal than that!
