I was thinking it might be fun to go next time. It sounds like an ideal opportunity to put the Enormous Reenactment Tent™ which can sleep six at a push.

Oh, and it's good in bad weather. It never falls down, I can easily stand upright in it, we've had 8 people and three charcoal burners in there before just sitting around just to keep warm and it has clothes-drying built in.

Maybe I could offer accommodation? *grin*

There should be room on the bus. The bus is the way to go if you have bulky kit.

The bus started off as a minibus rented by Adrian, then two rented minibuses. Then a coach with driver - turns out it's not much more expensive than two minibuses, also it seats more and comes with a driver.

This year they rented two coaches, which picked up people down the length of England before heading across the channel.

They have a facebook group called "Goths on a bus".

Sounds like you had an excellent time. If I'm still in Germany next year, it's a tempting venue ( ... )

If you're in the Hannover area and into the music at all (or into Mittelalter dudelsack playing) they yeah, would be pleasant. I might do it again next year.
