My Mp3 player died yesterday, while playing "Daisuki". f^^ You really are a jinx, ne Oishi? Poor boy, and right on your birthday too. So, no more voice messages in the near future. Gomen, but, blame him

1. Actually, even Hi-Speed Serves only lead to bruises. It does sting like hell in the first few seconds, and leaves really impressive and colorful bruises, but that's it ^^ The ball is too big and too soft to relly hurt people.
2. Hehe, that's something almost only pros can pull. Most amateur courts have really small boundaries left and right side (because space is expensive, so they economise whereever possible), so there's no place to swing the racket or take a stance to hit the ball.
5. Well, and this happens way more than you actually might think. Especially in close up doubles one or two hits over the time of a two set game are usual. May be from your partner, may be from you opponent. We usually make fun of it ^^
1. *nodnod* Bruises are painful. +.+ I only remembered a report on TV were they compared the power of pro shots with an football, tennis and handball player. The honey melon they used to imitate a human head wasn´t looking very healthy after the serve of the tennis pro. O.O
2. *lol* Yeah, that´s true. And I´m very happy that we have muuuuuuuch space. ^__~
3. Meanie! :P Nya, but you´re right. ^^v
Ah, so you´re playing tennis! Great!!! ^.^b Are you playing for fun or tournaments too? And, how long already? I would guess, for quite a long time, ne?
1. We~ll, a honey melon isn't exactly comparable with a human head, one must remember. It tends to crack up very easily (especially when ripe). The most understandable experiment i've ever seen with balls in this size and speed was broadcasted by Mtv's Jackass, where they let themselves be shoot by pelota players (pelota balls are nearly the same size, but are significantly harder). Really bad bruises where the result, but no real injuries.
Yes, i do play tennis. No tournaments, but league play (doubles specialist). For about 10 years now.
