The fight Erza put up was good, even if there were a lot of fanservice-pseudo-hentai shots. XD But I didn't mind very much. Glad that the catgirl armor has some use after all. I kinda hope she will get up again eventually for a rematch.
Guess you guys were right about Jellal returning, and I am happy for you. And even though I am not sold on E/J, I am genuinely interested how his plot will continue. At least there's always plenty of drama. XD
LOL, I didn't even pay attention to such shots because to me, the drama of the fight was just that good. Well there was that one very obvious panel of the seduction armour. (And LOL, she cares if Lucy sees? XDDD)
Yay, I get to be right about something! XD Well he didn't die and he didn't go out as a true villain so Mashima kinda had to something with him given the strong ties to Erza. Maybe now (or in the near future) we'll see some pleasing development for him

I guess I am really sensitive to that stuff. That part at the end where the roots catch her really looks like textbook tentacle rape. As to Lucy, that was just Mashima's usasl Les Yay ar work. XD
His appearance might as well be foreshadowing for future arcs, like with Laxus.
Well, TBH, most of Erza's development in the past was related to Jellal. He kinda is her "dramatic issue she needs to resolve", same as Gray's ties with Ur and ultimately Ultear. I guess Natsu and Lucy are harder to pin down, but with Lucy it used to be her father, and that is now over for good, it seems. I am interested if Jellal and Erza will hook up before the series ends, and how that would look like. Also, if he will ever remember, or if his personality will get more fleshed out. And of course, there's the question whether Erza will let herself love him despite her commitment to justice being dolled out and such.

Having a win doesn't dictate that she cannot possibly get stronger. She can still find flaws within her powers and work on, even if she somehow won. It's just that with having lost, she has an even greater reason to recover and get stronger.
I'm actually happy Erza didn't win. It's about time she loses. :/ it's not like I hate her or anything though -- I just think she's too overpowered sometimes.

I have a strong Erza bias as you can, and any ass kicking she does is welcomed by me. However, it was quite obvious that FT are in quite a dire situation and though I held some hope that she'd win, I knew there was quite a high chance that she wouldn't. Though to be honest, I don't want her to be rescued DiD style or for the whole FT crew to pull some power up out of their ass.
JELLAL! I KNEW HE'D BE BACK, I KNEW IT! FINALLY I GET SOMETHING RIGHT! :D IS IT TOO MUCH TO HOPE FOR DEVELOPMENT/INTERACTIONS SOON? :'D I just want more development for Jellal, enough of this memory loss stuff, let's see what he is actually like and what his role in the story is. XD

I can't predict anything from here on. I actually expected Erza to kick Azuma's ass in this chapter, and was surprised to see her pwned instead. But I'm looking forward to the next chapter <3 AND JELLAL HOW CAN I RESIST HIM?

I haven't colored FT in a while, and I think I must now. Juvia in the recent chapters is definitely love♥ ~ and this chapter is another incentive... which means I will color FT again soon. XD

I love the pairing as it is, but yeah, I think we need more of "real Jellal". We need to see whether Erza can/will truly forgive and open her heart to him again or is it doomed to end in tragedy.
Ah, my respect for Juvia increased due to the recent chapters. And now Meldy is proving to be quite an interesting girl...this manga just keeps making me spazz from joy. XD
I want to...no NEED to finish my Ichiruki icons first. I must do it!
