I came up with the idea to put the editors pictures in the back of the book. I wonder if that stayed on.

I think it's something to even have work that you can be proud of in the present.

I couldn't believe they moved up that deadline either! I wrote a story especially for them myself! Sheesh. Don't they know that they're missing our mutual genius?!

What an interesting thing to notice about the art evaluators, BTW. I actually had no recollection of that being started our year. Then again, I'm convinced I've blacked out on a lot of what happened in 2006 -- I can only see snippets, mostly of myself as a curmudgeonly, unhappy butch lesbian with that god-awful haircut -- so, suffice it to say, the art evaluator thing got left in the dust... But I think you raise some very good questions in this post. These are things we should all be thinking about, all the time. Understanding that the things we do have long-lasting effects might make us all better decision makers.
