I really must express my condolences for what occurred, dear. Though death is only temporary here, it is certainly not a fun or wonderful experience for anyone to go through. I hope you are recovering?

I had a little help from someone. The process normally would take longer, but... it seems he did a nice job of removing many of the typical regeneration obstacles for me.

It's perfectly alright. Understandable, really. He is not himself, but hopefully that can be investigated and resolved.

Is it really best he be brought in? Can they help him? Will they?

I don't mean to question the company, sir, it's just... Logan was a friend of mine. He's always been level-headed, as far as I've known. I don't know why he's killing, or his reasoning behind it...

I understand, Asellus. Believe me, I am also very fond of Logan - he is an astute man, and a good one. Or he was.

But whatever is wrong with him now, I believe the company can identify it and put it right. They won't want to hurt him - just to find out what's going on. To bring him back to his old self again.

Should I... um, I can get some clean water, and if you're not too squeamish I can get something's liver and cook it for you. The iron in it'll help. I've dealt with bloodloss before. I... I'm fine. Went out with Yachiru to see if we could figure out what happened, but there was another body. There's a lot of death around, and it's... a bit much, when we're not at war or anything. Besides... I mean, you're one of only a few people I think of as a friend. It was... somewhat of a shock. I'm still kind of convincing myself you're actually okay. I'm not so great with change.

...I trust you. I think he'll see right soon. Maybe. I can't ever tell from his reactions to things, but he seems... subdued.

It doesn't sound terribly pleasant, but... thank you, Asellus. If you can manage it, I'd be incredibly grateful. I need to be on my feet as quickly as possible; there's much to do.

Another? ... Is there evidence to say who did it?

Perhaps he's beginning to realise it's over. He needn't worry. Whatever happens, he won't be hurt. I... we... just want to get to the bottom of this.
