Birkin insisted that he could make a cure, though Wesker denies it. There was something about a 'Lisa Trevor', though what that is, I have no idea.

I apologize for the small amount of information, and what with the...affliction, we've unfortunately been distracted.

On another note, I think that there's another person that might be interested in joining the STO.

Deducing from their words it seems to be the name of an experiment.

We can hold out hope. However, any cure is effectively worthless in this place unless it will damage a Tyrant. I want to bring Wesker down, first and foremost; healing others, when they can come back from death, is almost redundant. A few memories lost is worth it to avoid the damage that distributing cures might cost us when Wesker finds out.

... I've heard a little about it. Ah. I think I had an experience with it, but... I can't quite be sure. It certainly wasn't an encounter I would have had under normal circumstances.

Another person...?

That's true. While Birkin claims he can help Wesker (and, as such, perhaps it could work on a Tyrant), we also have to take into account that Birkin is from a much earlier time. His research and work could be outdated. Or, going along with that, the virus inside of Wesker might have mutated to a point where Birkin's work would be useless anyway. Still, it's something to look into.

...ah...a friend of mine who just got to this world. Lockon Stratos. He was one of my teammates back where I come from. He's a good soldier, specializes in sniping.

(( ooc: This is the moment when we look at each other without knowing what to say ))

I completed a report after recollecting information from different sources... but I was certain Doctor Birkin was under the custody of ShinRa.

He was under Shinra's protection, but he is ours first and foremost; we're entirely free to speak to him, if we please. I'm sure of that.

After all, he is a fundamental part of our investigation; I only transferred him due to our lack of defense.

Who of all ShinRa was in charge of it?

I daresay Zack Fair is probably dealing with it. I'm sure he won't give you trouble about seeing him. I believe ShinRa and I have an unspoken agreement, in that respect.

Lucrecia may also have a hand in it, as she's the head of the department I believe he's staying in. If so, I will gladly speak to her about it. Her assistance may also be very useful, with their lab equipment and so on.

Good to be back, Logan. Thank you for holding the fort in my absence.

Private to Logan.

... I trust it was nothing severe. The gods have an interesting way of making us repent.

Yes, if you are willing. I've heard about your abilities. I'd favour having a man like you on my side.

Does this job involve remuneration of any kind?

Of course it is. You have a lot of repairs to pay off, you know.

Yes. It's a modest sum, but it's enough to live on in this place with some to spare for savings. Interested?
