Ohdearieme, Matt, what HAVE you got yourself into? XD As always, completely in character. I love the little twists of wonderful English sarcasm - and the topical references (the smoking ban wasn't the Gov's brightest move methinks, because now the nice clean outside air is clogged with nicotine and the innocents wandering the High Street in search of Waterstone's get the benefit...^^)

Glad to hear it was up to snuff for you dear! Especially that you enjoyed the sarcasm - it's pretty much my first language. I have to agree with regards to the smoking ban, too. Although, I generally dislike it wherever the do it, so I guess it doesn't make too much of a difference. At least now I can go into a restaurant or pub and not be immediately smothered. It doesn't tend to cling to your clothes, either, when it's out in the open air... I used to work as a waitress in a pub and it drove me mental...

Ahhh, this is so much of them to me, and so much of Matt especially. I always love your Matt. :)

I'm particularly glad you liked that second quote you picked out. I just couldn't get rid of the image in my head of Matt flinching whenever he could smell chocolate (which I imagine would make Sunday dinners a bit awkward when certain desserts were served), so I had to have him do that.
