I love that sculpture, even though it makes me sad abou the history of the rust belt, and the way its workers have been shafted ever since the 1970s (well, all workers since Taft-Hartley, but I digress.) I can definitely see why it reminds you of Soviet monuments, and I'm glad it reminds you in a good way.
