My thoughts on the 2018 Illinois Primary

On Tuesday, March 21, the State of Illinois had its 2018 primary. The two major parties' nominations for U.S. House of Representatives, as well as a whole slew of state-wide, regional and local offices were on the line. With Rauner my understanding is that he is too progressive on many issues for the majority of Republicans. Mostly they can't forgive him an abortion bill. And for Jones - yep, I strongly believe it was voting for (R)

As I mentioned offline, I just didn't think social issues would matter as much to Illinois Republicans as they apparently did.
