There are a lot of things wrong with President Donald Trump's January 27 executive order. It only applies to majority-Muslim countries where doesn't have any business interests. It applies even to refugees that have already been vetted. It affected people who were already on their way. Plus, there is the not so small matter of the Trump

Thanks for this post. I know a bit more than your average US native born citizen about how Green Cards work (I married a native English speaker from the UK, a white guy).

One thing is that Trump's order is merely security theater. It won't do anything but look effective to ignorant people -- and piss off anyone else who isn't so ignorant.

I can't imagine the stress of having to to live with this uncertainty now dropped from the sky.
