Why you shouldn't try to scam me on transit-related things

On Saturday, I was at North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side of Chicago, seeing the sites as part of the Chicago Open House. I'll get a bit more into that in another post. My mom has said before that you should be careful about what you say in Russian on the train. You never know when a Russian speaker happened to be riding with you.

Hahaha yes. Several times people speaking German or French in my hearing on the London Tube network have discovered just how wrong they were to assume that no Brits ever speak any foreign languages at all.
