"A Wizard of Tea" and building worlds in a few paragraphs

Thanks to a certain Shea Koshan, I recently came across a piece by Ursula (ursulav) Vernon. I confess that I only know her as That Person Who Regularly Shows Up In Non-Cyrillic Livejurnal Top 10 and Isn't a Writer (or Cleolinda).

This is pretty typical for Ursula's art: she'll dash off a few paragraphs to give the piece a setting, then she'll get back to the writing that her editor is already waiting for.

What's really magical is that as a regular readier/viewer you can start to discern a handful of distinct worlds among her works, like the way a series of paintings led her to writing gearworld which eventually spun out into The Hidden Almanac.
