Yes, I still cherish a memory of the day when I walked into this store in 1990 I was a teenager almost freshly off the boat and totally broken. I looked around and spoke with an owner, an older intellectual looking guy with a long beard. He asked me where I was from and we were from the same city! He learned that I am a singer-songwriter and said that he's an writer himself. He pulled a small book of his off the shelf and said that he wants to give it to me as a present to a fellow writer. I was touched. He signed that book with my name and best wishes and turned it over to me. I was almost blushing. That's when he told me I owe him three dollars for the book. Well, three dollars to me then where like three hundred dollars to me now. But what choice did I have, an eighteen years old freshly off the boat? I paid and left. I long lost the book, but this warm memory of our meeting is still with me. Oh, what a nostalgia :-))))
