Ghost Town - Magnificent 7/Supernatural - 1/8

May 28, 2008 13:26

I have become a huge Magnificent 7 fan girl. So, it was only a matter of time before I had them meet up with my favorite brothers. (And no Dean is not Immortal and there are no blonde reporters to be found - I know, I can hardly believe it myself.)

GREAT icon!!! (and I love your site design, by the by)

I do love me some M7, and even though this was an introductory scene, you seem to have nailed down the characterizations of the *6* you've had so far (and set up a wonderful mystery as to where my blue-eyed tracker-boy is . . .)

Good style, too! Looking forward to more!

Thanks - Mag 7 has sort of taken over my muse but it seems i can't write anything these days that doesn't include the Winchester boys.

Yep - Vin was noticably absent. But there's a good reason and I'll say no more (chapter 3).

Oh Hell, I'm loving this one, I can't wait to see how the Mag 7 and the Winchesters deal with each other.

Thanks! The Winchesters arrive next chapter - let's just say the 7 are like no ghosts they've ever met before.

Oooh! This is awesome! I've been thinking that the OW 7 would make excellent ghosts or maybe American Gods, and now you've gone and done it! Love "mechanical behemoth" and JD's curiosity. Love that Matthew Tanner seems very convinced of the existence of ghosts. Heh, and I even like poor Harry. He's just trying to do his job!

Can't wait to see Sam and Dean get mixed up in all of this :D

Thanks so much - I wasn't sure if making the 7 ghosts would go over well - I'm so glad that you approve!

Erza is a joy to write - his fancy speak is just loads of fun. Poor Harry, he's no match for our BDHs

It makes sense that dusty old Four Corners might have some spectres haunting it! Crossovers don't always work, I find, particularly once the nature of a character starts changing. But it's not like they're vampires -- ghosts are easy to buy into, I think, and there's a tradition of old west ghost towns. Heck, we already have one in SPN canon.

Plus, you're making them *all* into ghosts, which helps.

Actually, I'm thinking it would also make sense of all the townspeople were ghosts too. Like Mary, Nettie, Casey, and Mrs. Potter. Perhaps they don't materialise as well or as often as the seven men, but it makes sense that if they're guarding the town, there's still something *to* guard, y'know?

*big hugs to you my beta* I owe the first chapter to your insight - It really was horrid the other way. Mathew is such a big part of this story, it makes sense to meet him first.

And yes i've written the first bit of the chloe/mag7 thing - damn that woman would not take no for an answer [g]
