I was actually very sad at the thought of Booth dying in BONES, and it's not because of a love of DB - I actually prefer Zack. I also really, really thought it was Hodgins because of the whole painkiller bit, but had originally suspected Zack because he hadn't looked very careful with the polymer.
No, I don't think Zack had the ability to kill anyone - and totally pick up a skeleton? NO freakking way. Those dentures were TOTALLY creepy though...

Everyone I've talked to abut "Wilson's Heart" has overwhelmingly cried like a little baby. I did it too though, so it's nice to know the crying was universal.
House was so worried Wilson would hate him for this. But I cried because House actually showed copassion for a patient, REAL compassion, and it was because someone ELSE really cared. Someone HE cared about...
I cried because of Wilson and Amber. I cried like I was ten and my head had just hit a wall repeatedly. Of course, I've also been crying because of my ankle.
I knew that DB couldn't be dying becasue heck he's the star and a producer. but i thought it was going to be a dream so the undercover assignment was a nice twist. Still fuming about Zack but nothing to do now it's a done deal.
I was bawling during house - such and excellent episode and while I like the House/wilson/amber triangle - they gave her an amazing exit. House actually showed copassion for a patient, REAL compassion, thi sis so true- I hadn't thought about it before but maybe this experience will change house a bit.
I HATED Amber... but that's because I heart Robert Sean Leonard... but that was a perfect exit. One that showed how much she meant to Wilson, to HOUSE even...
She was amazing for Wilson, and a perfect person for House to torture involving Wilson. They way he found out Wilson was really supposed to get the bed HE wanted... amazing. Also, I think it will change House, yes, maybe not interfere in Wilson's relationships so much.
Yes, Bones was rushed and very off - you could tell they were trying to wrap up the Gormogon storyline, but seeing as it hadn't been talked about since well before the break, it seemed rushed and hurried.
Like you, I wouldn't have minded if they'd extended it into next season, despite what the writing plans were.
And don't even get me started on Zack. It may have been more believable if they had dropped even the slightest hint in an earlier episode.
As for House - I totally didn't want Amber to die. I actually liked her better than 13 (who's name I still can't remember). Though I'm pleased they gave Amber the farewell she deserved.
I don't care for 13 either she's like Cameron-lite with half the personality.
Yes hints about Zack having a mental breakdown after Iraq - anything would have been enough for me to say ok - he had a psychotic break and this is how he handled the shit from Iraq - something.
I will be throwing things at the TV tonight if NCIS kills anyone but Jenny. i swear i can't handle losing any more Charaters that I care about. if Tony dies - i'm done with the show - i mean it!!
House had both me and my hubby crying on the couch. *Such* a great scene, and such a tragedy. It showed what great writers they have over at House.
Bones on the other hand, was a disappointment. From the fake-out funeral to the sudden revelation that Zach of all people was a bad guy. Zach would never have done such a thing without discussing the logic questions with Brennan, or talking to Hodges about the ins and out of the secret societies in question.
It makes me think that they wanted to get rid of the character because the didn't know what to do with him now that he wasn't an intern. They wanted a new intern, but needed to get rid of Zack to make room in the show budget. They almost got rid of him before, with sending him off to Iraq, but then they brought him back, and then didn't do anything new with him.
*sigh*
I'll watch the beginning of next season, but I worry they're getting close to the shark tank.
You are so right about Zach. He definitely would have check with Hodgins and Bones about the legitimacy of the gormogon's arguments. Now it makes even less sense.
That definitely jumped the Shark. Let's hope they can get back on track next year.
House was easily the best of the season - of course i wasn't fond of the new interns. I miss Chase & Cameron. Still maybe the best episode of the entire series.
