somewhere along the line i missed #9, so i read 9 and 10.

i thought it was amusing when Dean shot Duncan in 9 to shut him up.

and this was pretty cool -
“That was just a bit scarier than I expected.’
Sam sat down and put his arm around her. “Not like sitting in the movie theater.”
“No, not at all,” Katie agreed and added more seriously. “So, pretty standard stuff for you though?”
“Just another day at the office,” he smiled grimly.

I liked Dean shooting Dduncan too. i was going to have Dean say "Not as much fun as I expected" But that kind of glib reaction didn't seem to fit with the tone of the chapter but you know he's been dying to do it with all the crap Mac's been putting him through during training. *hee* and yes they are real.

So glad you're enjoying it. I am trying to make Katie as real and non Mary sue as possible.

Now I'm thinking I should go back and add it - why not. :)
Actually now i'm thinking of writing an additional story where Duncan shoots him back - Fair is fair.

So happy you like Katie - She's my first OC and i really agonized over her.

Yes Katie is a hit. *does happy dance* it means maybe Sam will be getting some on a regular basis and Dean can stop being so invested
