yeah, not knowing the HL'verse, who she is doesn't have as much impact on someone who does know.... i'm going to go with a past life is coming through the amnesia. :D

also - i'm five chapters in, and i just now realised Connor was in the first movie. can i take Connor too? accent, swords, uhm. yeah.

Debra was dead byt the time Duncan fell in battle and i think two years after his first death he figured it out. Not sure exactly but then he ran into Connor for the first time. Connor became his teacher.
