A creature about the size of a small eel slips through the fabric of the Nightside, glowing vibrant green and shoots off through the streets

Spencer steps quickly out of the way as a green glowy flail-y thing zooms past him, ruffling his hair and the pages of his notepad. His head whips around to follow it down the alley-- when it turns around and rushes back to him, swirling around him in what could possibly be interest. He flattens himself against a wall (and he reallyreally does not to touch the wall, he can feel the death and darkness through his shirt) and waits for it to stop being so fascinated.

[ooc: look at Spencer, getting involved in things before even having an intro post. ... but this was so cool! ^^]

He's quite fascinating so it flits back and starts darting around his head and especially his hands as if somehow it can smell him.

Finally Tiwa emerges through the crowd and mutters something in Maori as she offers a feathered arm to the creature but it ignores her and tries to dive into Spencer's shirt.

(OOC: Thank you, the idea just struck me and at the moment she looks like her icon.)

Spencer makes a noise uncomfortably close to 'meeep!' and crosses one gloved hand protectively over his neck as the whatever-it-is dives for his collar. "Go with the nice bird lady," he says, waving his free hand at the green swirly eel-lizard-thing (which just spins around his hand and completely ignores him).

When he speaks, she switches to English as it tries to make itself small enough to go in his sleeve,

"Oh doing that just encourages him. Not sure what makes you shiny but you are."
