Last year, I actually "won" (having outlined an extensive plot beforehand), but you know what? I never finished the actual story! I had spent so much time thinking about it that by the time I started writing it, I was totally bored.
This year, I'm making a one-page outline and then just flying by the seat of my pants. *fingers crossed*

My entire plot last year was "Okay, so there's this werewolf-but-not-exactly, this mad scientist with a drug problem, a kid with a hell of an inferiority complex who can lift stuff with his mind, and an undercover mercenary lady who's pretending to be a mild-manner psychic. Let's put them in a big house and see how much stuff they can break in a month!!"
Fank you! I wish they'd get our damn marks back to us quicker. In another week I'll be heading into the fifth section and I've only gotten two marks back so far. Grumble-grumble. Stressful!
