So grapefruit juice can ferment, but I don't recommend trying to drink it. I HAS PROVEN IT WITH SCIENCE. And stupidity.

I was all "Well, it smells like death, but surely it'll be okay to drink" and then I was all "Well, it tastes kinda terrifying, but maybe it'll get better as it goes" and then half the glass was gone before I grabbed a clue. *WOE*

I wanted juice so badly and the frightening lurking-at-the-back-of-the-fridge stuff was all I had left! I virtually HAD NO CHOICE!

But it's laaate and daaark and if I were a Way, I feel a nice responsible Toro or Bryar would surely be there to prevent me from drinking the poison juice! X-D

Apparently the way many wineries etc. survived the Prohibition era was by selling fruit juice with labels detailing, very specifically, what not to do lest the juice should ferment. [/factoid]
