In a week full of entirely undue stress and nonsense, I must send out some sincere psychic gratitude to Charlie Brooker for feeling the urge to demonstrate what a Tyrannosaurus would look like if it were caught wanking (on this week's You Have Been Watching) and literally reducing me to tears of laughter ( Read more... )

YAY! That's where I've been finding it too! :-D (Isn't he fantastic? I love how he's FILLED WITH WRATH and then totally self-depreciating at the same time.)

I didn't realise you were a YHBW watcher! I went to one of the recordings last week, it was painfully funny. (It's the crime show special, I don't know when it'll be aired.) I adore Charlie Brooker so very, very much. Him and his hair. Have you read his column at all? His writing is just as delightful and cantankerous as you'd expect, and piles of his Screenburn and Comment Is Free columns have been collected and published as books.

I am indeed, just recently! (I was going into Buzzcocks withdrawal, started browsing through the other panel shows I could find on YouTube, and discovered that I liked YHBW even more since I'm more up on tv than music.)

I totally haven't read his stuff, but I'll look for it! :-D I know he's on other shows too (I think?) but haven't tracked him down yet!

No problem! :-D That one's particularly good times because every episode is up on YouTube currently and they talk about a lot of international programming so I found it was a little easier to get right away than some of the news-centric panel shows.
