Simstorytellers Challenge 007: Dr. Gone

This takes place a little after chapter 26, but the events are all separate, so I'm going to post it now, out of order, just to get it done before the challenge is a distant memory. I really wish I knew of some easy way to include an mp3 file here, so you can hear the song, since it's not a very commonly known one. Oh well. There's a description of

Thank you. That's quite a compliment. Jaxy has had a turbulent life (most of which I don't plan to go into detail about, even though I have it all worked out), but she does have at least one thing that she can depend on.

That was really beautiful, I teared up a bit while reading it. I'm happy for Jaxy, finally finding something to look forward to. :)

Now I REALLY want to know who the drummer will be. Jill Smith? Roxy Sharpe? HEATHER HUFFINGTON?!

Thank you. Having Zoe to help her along and support her will be very important for Jaxy. She didn't think that Zoe was interesting in the long haul with their relationship, but she always hoped that she would be.

I don't even know who Roxy Sharpe is... is that a uni student? Jill Smith as the new drummer would be an interesting twist... too bad she can't carry a tune to save her life. :P I imagine Johnny the same way.

Roxy Sharpe is a uni student, but I just realized she's in Sim State University. She lives with this red-haired guy and her "dorky" brother (Who looks a bit like Kevin Beare from the frat house).

Aw, poor Jaxy, having to go thru all this. At least now, she and Zoe are closer than ever.

In terms of music, if you look at my profile, you'll notice there's a little music player. Thru it, you should be able to go to the site to make your own, so you can put up whatever song you want that will play. :)

Jaxy will be fine. She's been through a lot already, so she's no stranger to having to overcome something like this. It's good that she can work through it and try to find a better coping mechanism now. Getting the band back will help her a lot too.

Thanks for pointing that out. I've seen a similar player on other pages, but it's nice to have options. My main issue is with getting the mp3 for the song, actually. I had a copy in that format, but iTunes converts the files to something else, it seems. I'm really ignorant about working with music files and all that, so I'm not sure if I can switch them back, or what, or if I should just try to find another mp3 copy.

OMG. I nearly started crying. After I nearly started screaming because I thought Jaxy wasn't going to make it. I didn't realize how much I liked her until I thought she was going to die. o_o Fantastic. For serious.
