Perfect storytelling and characterization as usual! I've been in love with this story from the very beginning so I get all nostalgic and smile-y when I read. Can't wait for the next update.

Oh, your Ripp is so cute! And I appreciate the way you showed how he start becoming responsible family man from childish rebel.

I wonder in what role will Buzz's ghost appear? As I can remember, he had thought about his boys before the death and felt sorry for not being good father for Ripp. Why doesn't he rest in peace? Does he wants to avenge Olive's family? Or to protect his sons from something we just don't know yet? Or to show Ripp the truth about Buzz's death? And what he thinks about this situation with JRO and their baby?

P.S. Ripp's comments about pregnancy and Phi made me laugh :D And +30% chips, of course! XD

I liked that part about Nervous. Especially: "One minute you're alone, and the next you turn around and BAM! Nervous Subject." Made me laugh out loud. Makes me laugh out loud every time I read it, actually.
The ending was good, too. It's kinda upsetting, to know that Buzz is still mad at Ripp and doesn't approve of his doings.

God, I love your screenshots. It's like... the game coming to life. I dunno how to describe it. It feels like being inside the actual game, like it's a real, full world in there, while everything still looks so pure TS2 because of your very Maxis Match-y style. I love it.

It was neat to see from Ripp's point of view. You write him very well. Loved Ophelia wearing him out. Haha. Those closeups with Johnny "there" were particularly sweet.

There's probably more I want to say, but my brain is zoning out. This is a busy week and I'll be glad to have some Christmas holidays.

I hope we get to see the baby. :) And yeah, unless it looks entirely like Ophelia, I think Tank is eventually going to catch on that the baby ain't Ripp's, green skin or not...

Edit: Nervous Subject being a "sidler" seems about right!

You do Ripp's voice so well. It was great hearing everything from his POV.

I love the series of shots with Ripp watching Ophelia sleep. (That bathroom scene looks pretty unsanitary though. :P)

Holy crap, Buzz's urn is still there in a hidden room? The house is so much homier now I hadn't yet made the connection that Ripp's now living where his dad was murdered.

Have you posted pictures of your madeover Muenda house anywhere? I'm wondering where that staircase goes.

I think in her anniversary livestream ST said that the staircase just leads to an attic which is full of junk. I think I remember her saying that she was going to use the set in a previous chapter but cut the scene.

Yes, that's right. It leads to an attic where a lot of the original furniture (that wasn't updated and re-purposed) and Olive's things are stored. I used it as a set for a short I posted on Tumblr, with Ripp finding Olive's "costumes" while searching for some old baby stuff up there. That scene may or may not show up in an upcoming chapter, if I can find a place for it.

Either way, some of the clues and evidence about Olive are up there. They might not be able to put it all together with that stuff alone, but it will be a peice of the puzzle if the truth is ever uncovered.
