So it's time to crack on.

There's two months to go. I've got me a beta (the assuredly lovely ladyjaganshi). I've got the tools of my half arsed trade.

The green ink  pen.
The fabric bound journal.
The massive teacup with inspirational Oscar Wilde quotation.
The computer.
The duvet.
The comfy writing trousers (leggings, I'm a slob).

I like to have the TV going on in the background except for when I'm writing sex. Then it needs to be silent. O_O

I write best in bed or on the couch, but I have a laptop so I'm mobile. I do a lot of writing on the bus too because I have an 1 1/2 long bus ride twice a week and it gets really friggin' boring. I always try to pick a seat where nobody is behind me, though, because I hate it when people look over my shoulder.

And what inspires me? Well, the works of others, obviously, since I write mostly fanfiction. And dreams too. I have RIDICULOUSLY vivid dreams. And, uh, don't just me for this, but I smoke a substance of questionable legality (in California). Um... *shrug*

You can do it!! ^^ I tend to write whenever and wherever I can (hell, even in class). Sometimes I'll make playlists to go along with the story and write while listening to those; other times, I'll just pop in a movie and watch it while I write. And I prefer to write while on my bed. It's much more comfortable that way~ I get inspiration from just about anything, really...

Music. Lots and lots of music. All of my stories have their own playlists, and then when I need to write my non-existent porn...that gets its own playlist as well.

I need me some comfy pants, some apples and my ridiculously comfy desk chair in order to write.

Saying that, I've got it all, and all I'm doing is staring at the few words I've written for my Big Bang. Sigh.

May I suggest peppermint tea too - keeps you wide awake without the caffeine torture.

I'm staring at my Big Bang.

And thinking...

WTF DO I DO NEXT?!

Also, freaking out over the clip.

You know. THAT clip.

Yes, THAT clip.

Probably why I'm having little to no success in writing my light-hearted big bang.

Damnit Show. Why must you do this to me?!
