I generally detest MemeGen memes, on the grounds that they aren't funny and reveal nothing of interest or value about the people who do them. However, even I could not resist finding out what Latin case I am:

i was ablative. apparantly this is like being a rogue encyclopaedia salesman and means that people can't work me out. i feel slightly offended!

Basically, yes, although I suppose the person writing this was trying to use 'doing something' as a generic idea to cover a whole range of verbs in Latin which do take the dative as their direct and only object.

Rather like astrology, I do recognise something of myself here:
