Donna and I saw lots with a parent in Newcastle, swimming up a river and then clambering over a rock. Luckily they all made it!

My favourite thing is ducklings or cygnets and their parents on frozen ponds, slipsliding all over the place and looking all affronted and undignified.

One of the courtyards at Kalamazoo was inhabited by a mother duck and THIRTEEN ducklings! So amazingly cute!
