Things were lucky for once. Ollie got here at quarter to eight, and has been sitting at the table fidgeting ever since. Finally, he sees Dinah walk in, and waves her over to the table.

He begins to get up and greet her "properly", but holds himself down.

That's crap. I mean, Light may be a twisted, evil little psycho who deserves to have his head crammed -- anyway. But he's smart. Deadly smart, and he had allies. You did damned well -- I would have been off my head if I'd had him screwing with me.

If you say so. I never did get the whole story on that. But I still say that, now that Light's back at the top of his game, I wouldn't feel bad about him outmaneuvering you.
