Tonight I'm going with Bosslady and ML to see "One For The Money."  It's based on the book, of the same name, by Janet Evanovich.  As some of you may know, I've gone to a few of her books signings and I think she's amazing.  I finished rereading the book last night and we're heading to the theater after work.  Of course, the movie theater across ( Read more... )

I have high hopes for that movie, and fingers crossed. I love the Stephanie Plum novels and have been a fan for years. Trailers look good, and I think Katherine Heigl is a good casting choice.

Your avatar: I gave my son that very t-shirt when he started film school 5 years ago. He still wears it.

Got it from Threadless. Looks like it's currently out of print, but they periodically reprint faves, and there's a "request a reprint" button.

Would definitely love to hear your thoughts on the movie. I can't wait to see it myself. Been an Evanovich fan for years now and simply adore Stephanie Plum.

I enjoy the trailers and I much prefer Katherine Heigl over Reese Witherspoon (original casting for SP). I'm not sure if I like the choice for Ranger or not, but he isn't shown much in the trailer. So we'll see. *excited*

I didn't know that Reese Witherspoon had been considered. That would have been . . . not good. I know that Evanovich wanted Sandra Bullock to play Stephanie for a while.

I put my thoughts together in another post, if you're interested.

PS - Doesn't Witherspoon's new movie with Chris Pine look good. We're thinking about going to see it.

Yeah, she was actually contracted to star in it, but was committed to another movie so couldn't do it. Thank God! Katherine, I think, is a better choice, by far! Sandra would have been good. LOL

Will look that post up. ;)

PS YES! I so want to see it!
