Movie response - Danny Boyle/Alex Garland - "28 Weeks Later"

I saw “28 Weeks Later” on Memorial Day weekend. I wanted to review it here as a Boyle/Garland project, but I needed to see it anyway, for science fiction convention panel later this summer. The review ahead is rambling and I know it sucks, but here goes.

Luckily, though, Alex Garland didn't pen 28WL at all, so no matter what happened in that film, it wasn't his doing. Sunshine has the classic Garland/Boyle going for it.

And isn't Rose Byrne lovely?

Also, what's going on with the fanfiction contest? I know I should probably just log onto the forum to find out, but I've been really busy, starting a new job....

There's absolutely nothing going on with the fanfic contest, honestly. We were supposed to have a random drawing sort of prize giveaway before the UK release and that fell through as well. I've not been able to get any answers out of anyone, so I think probably it's going to fall through. There just isn't enough time anymore, which is really unfortunate.
