Oh, another wonderful, wonderful chapter.

I could really vividly picture that first scene in my mind - you described it so well and you've caught John and Robin superbly. Big wise Daddy-figure John is just so adorable.

And you're shipping Allan/Kate... and I'm enjoying it! Kate brings me out in waves of meh so I don't think I could give any higher praise than that!

Yes the Allan/Kate thing wasn't planned, but I do think of everyone they have the greatest chemistry and it sort of works on the page, so I'm glad you're enjoying it!

Before he even thought about it, I had this sad moment where I forgot when this story was set and I thought it was Marian. Then went "Oh right, season three. :(" LOL.

...Poor Robin. Poor Much. A reversal of what Much would have had to deal with in the Holy Land, really.

That hadn't even entered my head the whole Much looking after Robin scenario! But yes, it kind of is, that may now come up on some way, I can see the muses assimilating that little fact already! Thanks for the reminder!

I just have vivid moments of John being all caring and consoling and the person to lean on, mainly because he is quiet and keeps to himself, but he notices everything.

Guy/Marian demons, you can't help but play around with them, they are so vivid in his character. Yes, I know, it's torturing the bloke, but he kind of deserves it and I can't write Guy without having dark moments!

Weirdly, though the last line is only a few words, I had to juggle them around because I was hearing them in my head and figuring out how broody and angsty he would be saying them!
