Even if this is as far as this goes, I love it love it love it, but would love it even more if you end up with the time to take it further. That first full shot of America on her own is just gorgeous. When you just do sketches, what do you use to draw?

Scan more stuff. More! Please? *grin*

Instant feedback--what fun! Hugs & thanks!

I sketched these with a black pilot G2 gel pen or a uni-ball finetip. Can't remember which...they're pretty much the same...good ol' multipurpose pens that I use for everything from taking notes in class to...well, sketching.

However, on the America-on-her-own pic I used a Pigma Brush-tip pen (by the same company that makes the waterproof Micron pens I use for my watercolor-and-ink illustrations) before going over it with my usual G2. That's why there's that softness underneath the pen-strokes.

Hee, lots more info than you wanted, I'm sure. ;-)

You're welcome! *hugs*

And I love it when you give me too much information. :) I am trying to get back into the sketching thing (not that I draw well, but if I practice at it, I'll probably get back to the point where I used to be -- which, really, wasn't that bad). And I'll just say it again, I love your watercolours. I can just imagine this story, set out and coloured in, and it's just breathtaking.

That is to say, love. ♥

Yay! Sketching! Have you posted your drawings anywhere? Will you? 'Cause you should. ;-)

This looks so, so cool. I'd love to see more.

Some day I'll get back to creating things again. No, really.
