A change to my journal - most entries are friends only

Most entries are now friends only. The casual visitor will encounter posts about LGBTQ rights, book and film recs, the occasional bit of hilarity and my fanfiction.

A word on the fanfiction: The Bertie Series, the Frisky Series, Anatomical Knowledge Prize, Pillow Talk and Jeeves Takes Matters Into His Own Hands are only posted on my journal.

Can I be the first to say "what ho" and introduce myself? I have only recently discovered your fics (slowly working my way through them) and I am rather in awe of you. I have wanted, many times, to leave a comment, but always held back. After all, you don't know me from Adam and with the obscene amount of praise I'm longing to heap on you, I was bound to sound like a snivelling sycophant...

I'd rather like to add you to my friends' list (and vice versa) but I could understand it if you preferred not to. I have, after all, very little to offer in return.

I would like to be friended back if that's all right with you. I don't post flist fics very often, only when the spirit moves me. They're usually just fun little practice pieces, not always beta'd.

I'll friend you based on that House fic you wrote a while ago. I don't generally read House fic because I've never seen the show (I'm a minority, I know), but I did like that piece.

Be sure and post once in a while. I like to read the stuff on my friends' LJs. I almost always commment, too.

I stumbled upon your story, "Jeeves and the Missing Memories" through the Indeed_Sir site and was charmed by both the premise and your skill in writing. May I please be allowed to read more of your work?
I will admit to writing very little in my own journal, but I do try to comment on the writing of others when I can. Reading well done stories such as your own are a much appreciated break from the everyday grind.
