The leggings are an unfortunate trend that should have died with the 80s. I'm not overly fond of the big boot thing, either. But even worse than the legging/boot thing is when the girls wear cowboy boots with short-shorts. Ick.
These girls are substituting leggings for pants. Unless a person is perfectly fit, without an ounce of fat, this is not a good look. At all. I'm seeing muffin tops above and below the waistband. Yuck.
It was driving me bonkers, too. Why I do this to myself, I'll never know.
Leggings worn for anything other than legging it at the gym confuses me. Doesn't look good on anyone (despite loads of 'experts' claiming it makes your legs look slimmer, which is bullshit), and the only thing they do is either make your arse look like it's about twice the size it really is, or, if you're really slim, give you the figure of a 12 year old boy.
I'd rather wear the purple tartan bell bottoms. No dice on the turtleneck though, my boobs are too big.
Good luck with your crafting and Storyson's ACT-thingummy!
None of these girls looked very good dressed this way, even the more athletic ones. It's like they forgot to finish putting their clothes on or something. Plus, they clomp around in those big boots so you can't help but notice them and their big butts.
My purple outfit was quite an ensemble. I thought I looked cool, probably because I had no boobs to speak of.
He came out of the test exhausted and unsure as to how he did. We'll have to wait and see.
It reminds me of when people dress their toddler daughters in tights and those silly short dresses that show their nappy-bum regardless of how still the child is sitting, because they think it's cute (I think it's hideous). I actually quite like big boots, but either as a deliberate mis-match to something, or with something like jeans or pinstripe trousers, not leggings.
Yeah, turtlenecks look fab on people without massive knockers. I'm jealous of one of my best mates because she looks so good in stuff like that, and she's always trying to get some more curves, 'cause she's a size 6 (US size 2).
I've noticed this trend, too - and seriously, it makes me shiver because it's WINTER... I don't have anything against leggins as long as I don't have to wear them, but when I see people using them as trousers... I just have to look away because it hurts my eyes.

Still, all of it beats sagging, I suppose....
Oh, and good luck to Storyson on his ACT!

Cowboy boots are OK with short skirts, but the shorts thing is weird. Just put on a pair of tennis shoes or something.
As far as the test goes, now we wait. For about 5 weeks, I guess.

Cross stitch drives me bonkers because I like to zone out while embroidering, and not count. Good luck with that!

He was tired when he got done, and he's not sure how he did. We have to wait about five weeks to find out.

I can't imagine that leggings would be warm enough to wear in the snow.
What are you making? I once cross sitched a tree skirt that I swear ate my life for months. It turned out really well though.
