Ouch... so you'll have to have "the talk" with your cousin, eh? ;)

Oh, I think I'm leaving that one alone. Her part of the family (related to my dad) is very religious, and they wouldn't be angry about it, but would just feel very sad and compelled to help me see the error of my ways.

I'll just complain to you all instead!

Oh, yes, sounds like you'd better...

Well, that's what we're here for! :D

Egad. Awkward.
I'm sorry you're having to deal with this.

I've noticed that many of those deeply entrenched in several of the major religions are very persistent in trying to drag their friends/family into it with them. In spite of polite 'no, thanks' and various not-so-subtle hints.

Good luck, bebe.

Yeah, they want to keep the whole family together for everything. But I don't want to go there!

Thanks, bebe! Hugs back.

If it's any consolation, I have a cousin who sends me his preacher's sermons on cassette tape. I've told him I don't own a cassette player, but he sends them anyway. Viva la county landfill!

I can't imagine sitting there, recording something every pastor in the world has probably said a thousand times. Then packaging them up and sending them to a family member? Yeesh.

I wonder what would happen if we played them backward?

That is not a fun position to be in. *hugs*

No, it isn't. I just have to remember that she means well.
