I spent my summer two years ago doing a huge clean out. It was amazing how much junk I had that I never used and have never missed. Having space and room to put new things that I actually use has been wonderful.

I'm hoping for the same result - a big sigh of relief and the ability to put things where they belong, maybe even find space for another bookshelf.

You can never have too many bookcases. My current project is to replace my VHS tapes with DVDs because they take up less room and my VCR is dying and I don't want to buy another one.

I would love to do that. We have a combo DVD-VHS player, but as soon as that goes, I'm sure finding another combo player will be very difficult. I'd love to replace "Back to the Future" as well as quite a few Disney films.

I'll bet there are some good deals to be had on ebay.

Oh, we've had such a lovely year, and I'm looking forward to another one. We'll have to make sure we natter a couple of times a month, just to keep up.
