I'm sorry that I attacked you. That I didn't realize your feelings, and then went out with Simon. And that we haven't talked until now.

[her mouth tightens into a line for a moment as she mentions Simon - that you realised them after, and went out with him anyway - but she doesn't say it.]

Decent start, I guess.

[She just shakes her head.] I can't even remember all the things I've done. They just melted together and formed one big, troublesome knot in my head.

That's what happens when you let everything pile up and stew, by the way. I kind of recommend dealing with it earlier, next time.

[There's a painful pang in her stomach, but she doesn't retort.]

I guess it is, then. You're right.

[it's hard for her - she has a knot in her throat, and even forgiving Ange for the betrayal is one of those things that she knows she should do, but is flip-flopping on.

[But she finally sticks out one hand.]

[Ange almost can't believe it, and it shows in her face, the way her eyes widen, and her eyebrows raise. Finally, with the ghost of a smile, she extends a hand to shake Izzy's.]

[she's slowly losing the people she knows, and she's well aware of it. If she can stop it in one case, she will. So the handshake is firm, no-nonsense. Like if Ange does anything else to jeopardise it, they're done.

[But until then, she manages to force a small smile to her lips.]

[Her lip curls just a bit more.]

You still have to meet Binx.

Yeah, I do. [she wants to say 'and you have to meet Remus.' but there's something in her that's hesitant to introduce her new boyfriend.]
