I saw the thing about the book today and I was like "oh, okay, cool" but I'm not so very psyched about it. Still haven't reserved a copy and honestly probably won't. I'll just go buy it where ever I happen to be. Uch, I'll have classes then. Will have to balance that with reading HP, just like I did with HBP

I could see 'porting having an effect on anime fandoms, then I remember that the fic for Death Note and D.Gray is pretty bad and neither of those have been released in the states in any form.

D Gray is the one that really makes me cry, cause you'd think someone would write about the main character, maybe, and not just 'cause he's the one screwing Kanda in the fic. Poor Allen, getting no love from the fangirls. Check that, it's probably a good thing.

The char in your icon doesn't get any good fic either. Tried a handful of fics from the fandom and gave up cause oh the horror. It's another fandom that ends up on ffrants every other day. I've got to stop with the bad fandoms, though lately I'm picking up fandoms off ffrants. I figure if people follow it enough to care about the characterization and so many people follow it, it might be worth checking out.

I hate the camera style of Office, so I watch Ugly Bette instead. I might pick up some office though one of these days, cause from what I saw it did seem good. I just have to ignore the camera work. Judging by what I've seen the anime fandoms still have their big epic fics, but there very ship/community specific, just like the HP fandom.

Me too, which is also why I've got overdue betaing and pm's that I should have answered weeks ago and just yeah, I'm half checked out of all of it.

I don't even check lj anymore. I need a break from people and drama and I just want to check out. Otherwise I get really distracted. (Not to mention my check in today means it's 1:00am and I gotta get up at 7:30, so I gotta get off soon.)

It's even worse if you're the cumpulsive type who feels like you need to comment on almost every post. So even a check ca last three hours.
