fan participation

My lj time has gotten so low that lately I'm not sure if I'm checking my user info to see if I was friended or defriended, or which I would prefer. I don't defriend if someone doesn't drop me first, but I feel guilty when I can't check things. *shrugs* If you've been meaning to drop me, now would be a good time to do it.

It's funny, everyone was ( Read more... )

Tryin' to catch up. :)

Just wanted to leave you some  here, too!

What everyone else said about the fandom is interesting. I don't have anything interesting to add. :P

Personally, I like to cross-fandom with my iconage. *nods*

*hugs* and love!

 right back.

Icons are actually probably the easiest way to pique interest in other fandoms, cause it's a quick way to present a new fandom and have the viewer decide "oh, interesting", or "nah". No spoiler worries or long blocks of text.

I don't write fics art or essays, or fan art. I'm kind of inactive in fandom.
I've gone through reading smut to strictly canonic fics.. from het --> slash --> gen --> femslash and so on.
I'm not into certain pairings, I'm multishipper or more accurately, I'm not shipping.

HP fandom caught my interest after watching GoF and reading HBP, like many others did, and in a year many more will come too.

Not shipping is fine too. I don't know how much I ship anymore. You sound like a more passive participant, reading and viewing, but you're still active in fandom. I'm curious as to what the next release will bring.

Closure to the series, long essays.. tons of fics. Fandom will explode XD

New ficcers, readers, fresh viewpoints.. and OotP premieres at the same time *can't wait*

Fandom, the Quill is down, and just hello viomisehunt October 8 2006, 18:09:40 UTC
Hey! It's MVH from the Quill. I think fan-dom is down because, like you, everyone is busy with real life. And real life has been especially grim in the last few months. The Quill's down, so discussion is down too. Anyway, I'm happy to see so many familiar names here. Drop in on me anytime.

Hi! I will when I can. Real life just took a beating out of me too. I see that the quill is wonky, but it takes a while to work out kinks when switching servers. Go friend some more of the familiar faces. ;)
