Long overdue Ron meta requested by stmargarets:

I would really like a list of all the occupations you've seen Ron shoved into in his post-Hogwarts life. You read all the fan fiction out there (not really, but I'll read almost anything Ron centric) so I'd love to know what other authors have dreamed up - and which occupations fit Ron.

Thanks for this! What a range of occupations is open for Ron! It's hard enough to decide what to do in your own life - and then to pick for your character! LOL. That's tough ( ... )

No fair, you summed up all of it in a few paragraphs. ;)

I so can't wait to read your new fic, sound way too interesting. (Though actually, is it Ron-centric?)

No, it's not Ron-centric. Ron just wandered in off the street as a cameo! LOL. But now I think I *could* write a Ron-centric story that would actually be interesting to me. My timeline is twelve years after HBP - so he would be twenty-eight. An interesting age! The story he stumbled into is about Roger Davies who is thirty and finally finds what he's looking for! LOL - and she's not in the rosebushes. And speaking of Fleur, I *have* to get back to your Hermione/Fleur post. It's on the "to do" list.

This is a very interesting question.

When he isn't complaining about his homelife, he is rather silent on anything else. Unless it is because Harry is just uninterested in Ron's thoughts. Ron has a talent for discretion.

I see Ron as an Unspeakable. It just fits to me. If he isn't working with the MOM, I see him as a Private Detective.

Ron's sort of an open book though when it comes to emotions, so I'm not sure just hoe descreet he is. I was tempted to throw in unspeakable, but I couldn't fit it anywhere, and anyways I'm not sure if it's a Ron job. I don't know if he's the philosophy type, way into researching really abstract concepts. That seems like a very Lunaish job. It could be pulled off well though.
