Lothar Gets His Rocks Off

While I work on the nacelles, Lothar has proceeded with his own plan -- hollowing out one of the larger asteroids within which to hide Surak's Razor. As this vessel currently has minimal shielding, no armor, and no cloaking device, the asteroid shell ought to provide us with additional protection as well as camoflague.
Lothar found a large asteroid rich in actinides and thalium, both naturally-occurring compounds which interfere with Federation sensors. I am uncertain as to the mechanism by which Lothar is hollowing out the asteroid, but it appears to be the same ability which he used during our escape to make the walls in his path crumble.
Lothar has also hypothesized that the additional mass will make our future warp calculations easier (I still have not ascertained whether or not we travelled through time as well as space when we performed the slingshot maneuver around Sol), by helping to balance the increased warp field density we have achieved on Surak's Razor by equipping it with stolen Excelsior-class nacelles. The additional mass will, unfortunately, also cause an additional strain on the ship's already overburdened warp core -- upon arrival at starbase668 we shall have to attempt to acquire a more suitable replacement.
It is fortunate, at the very least, that we are making both of these upgrades simultaneously -- I am able to take Lothar's asteroid into account in my calculations and upgrades on the nacelles.
