I've only been Kung-Fighting for a year now, and I'm not that good at picking up stuff and I don't really practice on my own, so I'm not very good. I want to be a black belt someday though, and I don't care how long it takes!
Tae Kwon Do is fun from what I hear, but I wouldn't learn it myself - I think Kung Fu is more practical. Still, if you're learning a martial art, it's all good!

Um, Tae Kwon Do is a little more impractical *because* of the high kicks. They are easy to block. They were developed so the Koreans, who didn't have horses, could attempt to attack the Japanese cavalry and knock them off their horses.
Kicks *do* have more power than punches, but it's harder to block with your feet, and defence is always important in martial arts. There's always other kickboxing type things you could do, like Muay Thai.
That said, being good in a martial art is, well, being good in a martial art, and I wouldn't wanna face down a black belt in Tae Kwon Do for another couple of years at least, and that's if I keep up Kung Fu!
