(Transcript) TVGuide Q&A session with Joss

TVGuide.com recently published a Q&A session hosted by Matt Mitovich reading out fan questions about 'Buffy', 'Angel' and 'Firefly' to Joss Whedon. Since the video doesn't even run on certain browsers, and other people can't view videos on their computer, here's a transcript of what Joss had to say.

Thanks for transcribing that. I've spent the whole morning with crossed fingers hoping that Joss had remained non-commital about the whole B/A/S thing, and he has, bless him.

See, the difference between me and the fanatical person who sent that question in is that I don't want anyone to be disappointed.

ETA: Should have said, interesting what he says about the comics. It seems even he doesn't see as the same as the show. Good to know.

As with Angel and Spike, Joss has something to say for everyone regarding the comics. "I don't really compare it to the TV show because it's such a different animal" on the one hand, but "The book itself I'm really proud of, and I think some of my writers have done amazing work on it" on the other. :-)

Thanks! (It's actually my mother's memorial service on Friday. I ought to be getting ready for the journey rather than spending time transcribing Joss's interviews. :-) )

Thank you for transcribing this! I don't understand if it's this frickin' simple why TV Guide can't just do it. Not everyone can watch/hear the videos!
